Overview
During the Fall of 2020, I had the opportunity to intern with Omniboom, with the goal of refreshing their brand. Omniboom is a tech start up located in Cincinnati. Ohio. They are an iPaaS company that works to solve complex data challenges by providing a business-driven, intelligent integration platform that can securely and rapidly connect information from any application or device regardless of location. As a Design Intern I redesigned their logo, provided social media assets and templates, a brand guide, and a website redesign.

FINAL DESIGNS
Brand Decisions
Color
I utilized color psychology and paid attention to their original colors to determine their color schemes. They originally had a red as their main color and so I used a similar red, but made it a bit brighter to fit the tech aesthetic. I also added in purple because according to color psychology that correlates to ease and so it really fit in with their company mission.
Logo
My goal with their logo was to incorporate different aspects of the company mission and also use some sort of typographical element as well. I decided to build around the “O” and the “B” in their name to create the base of the logo and then added in other elements to hint back at this idea of integration and their iPaaS product.
Pattern
The pattern was something that allowed their brand to grow into other applications. After feedback and multiple iterations I created this pattern that was more three dimensional than other attempts. I also added in the both filled in and outlines circles to connect this pattern more to the logo.
